Widely recognised as one of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s favourite instruments, the original SRV #1 is universally identifiable. With its uniquely bright and powerful tone it’s easy to see why Vaughan became so attached to this instrument.

Fraser Guitars SRV #1 tribute conscientiously creates our take on the original guitar.  Each guitar is individually hand-made and hand-painted to ensure that not only the aged nitrocellulose finish can withstand the scrutiny of any Vaughan enthusiast, the quality of sound and tone ensures this stunning looking guitar resonates.

Taking you back to the '60s with a deep contoured body in alder and a distinctive nitrocellulose lacquer finish, 3-ply Black pickguard with SRV script and tremolo.  Our trio of single-coil '60s pickups, hand-wound to vintage specifications, ensure this guitar retains the classic sound of the era.  Other features include our Vintage "C" 62 maple neck with 9.5" slab rosewood fretboard with rolled neck edges, rolled and polished Vintage Jumbo frets, bone nut and vintage-style machine heads.  All our guitars now include a Fraser tweed hard case as standard.
