This website is operated by Fraser Guitars. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Fraser Guitars. Fraser Guitars is a trading name of Fraser Designs Ltd. Fraser Guitars offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Fraser Guitars' guitars, basses and parts are made by, or for, Fraser Guitars and are not to be represented as products of other companies unless stated otherwise. Fraser Guitars is not affiliated with Fender ® and no Fender ® warranty applies.

 

SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependants to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

 

SECTION 5 - DESCRIPTION OF GOODS AND PRICING

All our prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices, descriptions and shipping charges are regularly reviewed and we endeavour to ensure all information provided on our website is consistently correct. Should an error, or omission, be noted on our website, Fraser Guitars will notify you of this immediately. In the event that a value is incorrectly displayed, Fraser Guitars will offer either the product/service at the correct price, or a full refund. We are under no obligation to honour an incorrect price.

Import taxes, customs charges or administration fees payable on orders made outside of the United Kingdom are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of your item or any shipping fee. Please check the requirements of your country prior to making a purchase.

“In Stock” refers to products which are currently stocked and available for purchase.  When purchasing a guitar which is referred to as "In Stock", the guitar pictured in the images of the product listing is the exact guitar you will receive. Any "In Stock" item will generally be shipped within 3 working days of payment clearing. 

“Made to Order” refers to products which are available to order only. “Made to Order” means items, including guitars, guitar cases, etc. are made on receipt of purchase and are therefore not immediately available. Product images shown in the product listings for “Made to Order” guitars are for illustrative purposes only and show the “best likeness” to the item you will receive.

Currently, all “Made to Order” products have a varied lead time. Lead time, meaning the time it takes to produce your order.  Lead times are available via our Website banner at the time of purchase or will be confirmed via email on enquiry.  You will receive an email confirming the anticipated lead time for your project on receipt of your order.  Completion time may be subject to change in peak times.  If a change to your completion date is expected, you will be notified as soon as possible and a notice will be placed on the Website with amended, anticipated completion times.  If you are not prepared to wait, a full refund will be given. We do not, at any time, offer partial refunds.

When purchasing "Made to Order" guitars, the item you will receive will be made to the specifications of the product information, and with paintwork in the "best likeness" of the images provided for reference.

Each guitar available is designed and individually made by Fraser Guitars. As each guitar is hand-painted and handcrafted, no two guitars are the same. Each guitar is a work of art and is as individual and unique as the customer. Great care is taken to ensure each guitar is made to the highest of standards and quality.

Photographs of your completed guitar will be provided for your approval prior to shipping.  If you are not happy with the artwork/paintwork/ageing/relicing/lighting of the product in the photographs provided, you will be issued a full refund. 

Updates regarding the progress of your order will be provided on completion of your order. Please avoid repeatedly contacting us for updates, this inevitably delays the build process and will not result in your order being completed any faster.

“Custom Orders” refer to any product which is made to the customers specifications.  This includes any tweaks or amendments to our standard range of guitars together with any "individual" design.

By "Custom Order", we refer to any specific request/s, e.g. ageing to preference, colour not available as part of our standard range, alternative pickups, no decal, alternative neck specifications. In short, if the product you are looking for is not "In Stock" or "Made to Order", it is a "Custom Order".

Custom Orders will be considered on an individual basis.  Completion time for Custom Orders varies depending on your specifications.  We will advise regarding individual lead times on confirmation of your order.  Customer Orders are non-refundable (not withstanding your Statutory Rights).  All enquiries regarding Custom Orders can be made to info@fraserguitars.co.uk

All our guitars: "In Stock", "Made to Order", and "Custom Order", are fully set up prior to shipping however, the strings may be loosened when packaged.

All our guitars undergo stringent quality control at every stage of the build process. We ensure the neck is straight, the frets are level, rolled and polished, the action is low, and the intonation is on.

We advise making no alterations to the set up for 48 hours following receipt (primarily to allow the guitar to acclimatise following fluctuations in temperature during shipping).

As with all new guitars, Frasers will settle in the weeks/months following receipt and may require a further set up, or setting up to accommodate your preferences.

Fraser Guitars is a family run business and we endeavour to provide a personal service unique to each customer’s requirements. However, the business hours we operate extend from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Should you make an enquiry regarding your order outside of these hours, please be prepared to wait for a response. Any contact outside these hours is at the discretion of Fraser Guitars.

 

SECTION 6 - PURCHASE OF GOODS

All orders submitted are subject to the acceptance of Fraser Guitars.

“Buy it now” applies to both “In stock” products and those “Made to Order”. “In Stock” items will usually be despatched within 48 hours of payment clearance.

“Made to Order” and “Custom Order” purchases denotes the ordering of a product which is yet to be made. 

In the unlikely event your order will take longer than stated to complete you will be informed as soon as the delay is noted and offered a full refund if you are not happy to wait for a longer period than otherwise stated for your order.

 

SECTION 7 - PAYMENT

Payment of all purchases are currently made via PayPal or bank transfer.

Payments made via PayPal are securely handled and your card details are not visible to us at any time.

Any order cancellations where payments have been made via PayPal will be refunded minus PayPal fees.

 

SECTION 8 - DELIVERY OF GOODS

Stocked items will usually be dispatched for delivery within 3 working days (excludes weekends and Public Holidays). "Made to Order” purchases will usually be dispatched, following confirmation of shipping address and contact phone number, within 4 working days from the date of completion.

The correct shipping charges will be automatically calculated on your shopping basket.  Enquiries regarding shipping fees can be directed to: info@fraserguitars.co.uk. 

Fraser Guitars reserve the right to adjust delivery estimates at any point in the order process: customers will be notified of any such changes.

Where delivery takes longer than the estimated time, we cannot be held responsible for delays. Fraser Guitars will notify you of any such delays where reasonably possible.

Tracking numbers for shipping will be provided where applicable. Please use the links provided via your Account to track your order online.

 

SECTION 9 - RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

Orders/purchases can be cancelled in line with your statutory rights. You can return your purchase, in its original condition and packaging (provided this is not damaged), within 14 days to us for a full refund (minus any PayPal fees, costs incurred for the initial dispatching and, where appropriate, any costs incurred by Fraser Guitars).

Before returning, please contact us for guidance, on 07709231952 (or via info@fraserguitars.co.uk), and the appropriate action to initiate a return.

Custom Orders – The right to return goods does not apply to any order which has been specified or commissioned to the customer’s specifications. This is inclusive of any item which is not typically stocked by Fraser Guitars and has been ordered/custom made at the request of the customer. Return in these instances will be subject to the discretion of Fraser Guitars (with any costs incurred, including administrative costs, to be deducted from any refund made available).

Cancellation of contract, and subsequent return of goods where applicable, will ensure the account (from which payment was received) is credited with a refund for the goods. Refunds are typically processed the same day, prior to the dispatch of goods, or on the day of receipt of returned goods. If the goods are not provided, or return delivery costs not covered, this will be deducted from the direct cost of recovering the goods from the amount to be refunded.

 

SECTION 10 - DAMAGED GOODS

All orders are pre-checked and well packaged prior to dispatch. In the event of any shipping damage, this must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. If a claim is found valid, collection of the goods will be arranged at no additional charge. A full replacement/refund will be offered for damaged goods. We reserve the right to request photographic evidence in order to verify any claims made.

All goods are the responsibility of the customer at the point of delivery. Fraser Guitars cannot be held responsible for damage caused by shipping or negligence if reported after 48 hours of the goods being delivered. Fraser Guitars will not be responsible for any damage or fault arising from incorrect storage or use.

 

SECTION 11 - PRODUCTS OR SERVICES (if applicable)

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

SECTION 12 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
