Our Vintage Series Sherwood Green Light Relic ‘60s S-Style takes you back in time, with a deep contoured body in alder, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, 3-ply aged Tortoiseshell pickguard and tremolo. With indications of the ages, such as discoloration of plastic parts and metal hardware showing signs of oxidation, the Sherwood Green nitro is worn, with the exposed wood evoking its journey and weathering though time.
Other features include our Vintage "C" maple neck with 9.5" radius slab rosewood fretboard with rolled fretboard, rolled and polished Vintage Jumbo frets, bone nut and vintage-style machine heads. A trio of single-coil '60s pickups, hand-wound to vintage specifications with reverse-wound/reverse polarity middle pickup, ensures this guitar retains the classic sound of the era. All our guitars now include a Fraser tweed hard case as standard.
